don't use chlorine, bromine or ozone in fountains

Buyer Beware!

Strong oxidizers do not remain in the fountain long because they react with (oxidize) all manner of organic material - nonliving, living and dead. All chlorine and bromine products and ozone are very harsh oxidizing agents. Their use, especially over a long period will corrode metal plumbing.

Do not use: household bleach (sodium hypochlorite), “HTH” (calcium hypochlorite) or other chlorinators, bromine or ozone.
